Hero ST25 fragrant rice is elongated, slender, in no silver belly, fragrant with light nuggets and rice retains aroma for a long time. Amylose content is high, so the rice is flexible, glossy and has a bold taste typical of coastal alluvial areas. Cooked rice is clear white, whole, soft, sticky, natural taste. Cooled rice is soft, flexible.
Rice is grown from ST25 rice variety (Soc Trang 25) which has been pure coastal alluvial soil since 2018 and granted the right to protect Vietnamese varieties in 2019. Soc Trang fragrant rice has won the world's best rice award in 2019, for its balance of delicious rice characteristics: clear, flexible, glossy, fragrant, natural sweetness. The rice of Soc Trang fragrant rice cooled does not change its taste and is still flexible, so just reheat it quickly, the rice is like just finished cooking.
The preference for ST25 rice of the domestic market makes the ST25 rice growing area gradually increasing in the mangrove and brackish areas of the Mekong Delta, especially the shrimp rice area, harvesting rice before the Lunar New Year.
